Get Involved

The numbers are families and children who are homeless is growing. Since 2008, the San Diego region has accounted for an 83% increase in children reported homeless by the annual school homeless count. School-based homeless liaisons are serving children and their families who often are living doubled up with another family, in their cars, in shelters, or on the streets. The children come to school hungry, anxious, exhausted, and unable to succeed in school. None of us want this for our community.

Fortunately, the crisis of family homelessness has a solution and you can help. Explore these pages to find ways to get involved and help end family homelessness for good by 2020.
